James McGrath, founder of Big Metal, was first inspired to start making jewellery whilst living in Papua New Guinea 30 years ago and working with natural materials with the local artisan people. After returning to London James continued making jewellery and now works out of his London based workshop with his team.

Big Metal consider both the environment and people when it comes to their jewellery. The aim to have only a positive impact on both!
